Inilah antara apa yang membuatkan aku mengambil keputusan untuk menyertai travel club ni. It is not a scam, it is not a lie. They make a promise, and they honoured it. 

 

And no, I did not make decision based on what people told me or whateva junk I read from the internet, I do my research. And I am trained to do research the correct way, not just believing whateva blogs in the internet. Some people say it is scam, even when my friend and I approached some of our friends or family members, they said it is scam, we have been scammed. Their justification...some bloggers who heard from someone who heard from someone who heard from someone said this is a scam. Well, some people say all network marketing are scam or pyramid scheme anyway. But they don't realise that traditional business also is highly dependent on network. Our careers also are highly dependent on network. Tell me, when was the last time you succeed without knowing nobody at all? In life, you need to know people, you need to socialize. And those who don't know how to socialize traditionally, they do it via social network. And if you sell something to your social circle, either your traditional social circle or modern social circle like FB or Twitter, you are my friend, is engaging in network marketing. Forget legal definition of network marketing, in real life, everything is network marketing. Even if you are doing cold selling, setting up a booth somewhere and approaching people who happened to walk in front of you, you are actually trying to build a network!

I have tried many network marketing and I've been approached to try many network marketing.  I recognised that you indeed can be successful and build your empire through network marketing. I failed. Not because it is a scam or it is not good, but because I found it is not for me. I don't like having to buy stocks to mantain my PV. I don't have time to sell or deliver products. I hate it when my upline keep on reminding me to mantain my PV or pushing me to recruit people so that she can mantain her income. In short, I found that those are not for me. 

But that does not stop me from looking for and trying out other opportunities. I still believe that you should not judge something just because you fail in it. And not every business is the same. Find something that you like and you think will work for you and just do it. I like to traveling, it is always my dream to be a world explorer. And I want to do it with others who share the same passion as mine.

The fact is, you can't change negative people to positive thinkers if they themselves don't want to change.

Lamanya tak menulis kat sini. Busy with my little travel business. Nak bercerita pun dah tak tahu yang mana dulu patut diceritakan sebab banyak sangat yang tak tercerita. Aku nak cerita sikit pasal travel club cum biz yang aku sedang aktif usahakan sekarang.

Semuanya berlaku secara kebetulan. Memang betul, sesungguhnya sesuatu kejadian Allah itu bersebab, everything happened for a reason. One door closes but another door to a better destination will be opened. Kaki aku dah setahun lebih masih belum betul-betul sembuh lagi, masih lagi terasa sakit terutama sekali bila turun naik tunggu atau berjalan jauh. Berlari jauh sekali la kan, so terpaksa la aku lupakan aktiviti paragliding buat sementara waktu. Niat di hati nak terbang kembali tak kesampaian, jangankan terbang solo, nak tandem pun tak de orang berani bawak aku lagi sebab nanti susah nak take off memandangkan kaki aku masih belum boleh menerima tekanan.

Anyway, walaupun cenggini, aku masih lagi nak mengekor En Hubby pegi paragliding trip ke Bukittinggi last May. Aku pantang kalau bab berjalan, apatah lagi kalau over the sea, boleh ajer walaupun kaki sakit. En Hubby terbang aku ambik gambar. En Hubby terbang aku pegi sightseeing. En Hubby terbang aku pegi shopping. So it works for everybody. Tetapi memandangkan ahli rombongan semua jejantans kekar gitu, dan trip ni adalah trip bajet, so kami pilih hotel yang paling murah. Kami stay kat Hotel Ambun Suri di bandar Bukittinggi. Hotel Ambun Suri ni fav among Malaysians, sebab ia murah dan kedudukannya sangat strategik. Hotel ni kira oklah, ala-ala hotel yg diberi nama Hotel Pak Kong di Malaysia. Tak tahu la hotel ni ada jual 'ayam' ke tak, tapi tak de kot. Satu kekurangan hotel ni ialah, dia takde lif! Nasib baik kami dapat bilik di tingkat satu, tapi seksa jugaklah nak mengangkut segala barang naik. So we decided to leave the gliders downstairs, tu pon tinggal bawah tangga je sebab hotel tak menyediakan stor untuk simpan barang.

Walaupun hanya di tingkat 1 dan luggage En Hubby yang bawak naik, macam ketam jugak lah aku jalan naik tangga tu. Sampaikan kalau dah naik macam taknak turun dah, sebab tak tahan kaki sakit. Tapi sebab nak berjalan punya pasal kan, En Hubby tanya aku cakap aku ok je, steady and cun je manjang. Hehehehe. Tapi dalam hati, aku dah tanam azam, next trip nak cari hotel yang ok sikit, paling penting ada lif kalau bilik kitorang kat tingkat atas. Tapi aku ni memang cheapskate sikit, nak yang best tapi murah. So how is the best way to get really discounted hotels? Yang lagi murah daripada Agoda or Booking.com or Groupon? So aku dah set, balik Malaysia aku nak cari travel club.

Balik je dari Bukittinggi aku tanya member aku pasal travel club yang dia join. So dia pun ceritalah kat aku, it is a timesharing concept, dia bayar altogether more than RM15k, tapi bayar ansuran. Bila dgr RM15k je, aku terus turn off. Kalau aku ada RM15k, baik aku pegi buat IVF je daripada bayar travel club.

Seminggu dua lepas tu, kawan aku yang aku kenal masa main paintball dulu contact aku kat FB. Dia suruh aku tengok satu video and ajak jumpa kalau aku interested nak tahu lagi lanjut. Since aku pun dah lama tak jumpa dia, so we set a date. Kami berjumpa and dia bawak another friend. Dia mintak kebenaran untuk kawan dia ni explain kat aku pasal benda ni. Aku cakap aku ok je tapi kalau nak cerita pasal MLM aku tak interested nak dengar. Although aku ada kawan-kawan yang succesful melalui MLM, tapi aku dah cuba several MLM and I found it not for me. Tak larat lah nak beli stok untuk mantain PV. Stok minuman kesihatan yang aku beli semata-mata nak mantain PV pernah sampai expired, sebab aku dah hilang regular customer since aku dah pindah tempat kerja dan tak sempat nak menghantar ke ofis lama. Tapi member kawan aku ni jenis yang tak kisah, dia cakap benda ni walaupun it is a form of network marketing, but it is not a typical MLM yang kena mantain PV bagai. Dia mintak aku bagi peluang untuk dia explain.

Belum sampai 5 minit dia explain pasal super discounts yang members can enjoy, aku actually dah made up my mind to join, since that was exactly what I was looking for. Tapi aku tak cakap apa-apa kat dia lagi. Lepas tu dia explain pulak pasal price pledge, price promise, rate shrinker dan 5% commission yang aku boleh enjoy sebagai member. Lagi lah aku interested. Booking hotel, kereta atau aktiviti through website kita dapat komisen, booking untuk orang through website pun kita dapat komisen. On top of that, aku pun memang dah rancang dengan En Hubby untuk mulakan our little venture offering customized tandemparagliding trip+sightseeing. So this seems to be perfect opportunity for me.

Alhamdulillah, I am really enjoying my life now. Less stress and bila-bila aku stress je, can do for holiday. Kadang-kadang tu sampai tak tahu nak pegi mana, semuanya murah. Mana tak murahnya kalau flight tix pegi balik+hotel utk 7 hari kat Paris tak sampai RM3.5k. Mahunya gila pikir nak pegi mana. Yang bestnya, we are among the pioneers. We joined before they launched officially in Malaysia. The official launching was last Sunday. So if anybody want to enjoy the discounts and at the same time earn money, this is the time kerana kita akan menjadi perintis. Ya lah, barang semua dah naik dah kan, inilah masanya untuk buat duit lebih.
